Noël - Christmas Time

When you live in the Caribbean, it's sometimes hard to feel the Christmas spirit. No drops in temperature, no snow falls... Still, Mother Nature finds its ways to remember all of us Christmas is coming. This tree only blooms at this time of the year, giving beautiful white flowers that make us feel like snow is covering its leaves...

Your plant grows very well in south Florida. Euphorbia leucocephala
White-laced euphorbia is closely related to the regular poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima). The only problem is that the leucocephala doesn't hold it's flowers like the painsettia. Thanks for sharing your plant.

I love that plant as well. My mother used to have a big cluster of them and oh they were beautiful when they were in full bloom!

I just posted a page on my TOG site, some pictures of the Euphorbia leucocdphala. If the address below doesn't work(copy and paste) go to my Sunday blog where I have a link. It is inside the Lichtenstein page.
